Young people will feel safe and have their needs met. We will guide them to help themselves to keep safe and be available 24 hours a day in the case of an emergency. We will contribute to plans, share the required information and respond to any signs of abuse sensitively and appropriately.
Young people are encouraged to participate and influence the support which they receive in line with their wishes and feelings so that it is individual. Support is continuously reviewed and adapted to the evolving needs of young people. We will collaborate with partner agencies so that our multi-agency support package is effective and well communicated.
We strive for success in our transitions by working with young people to build their resilience and independent living skills while accessing education, training or employment. We work with agencies to create effective transition plans and outreach support can be continued beyond 18 where needed.
